Base Joinery is committed to environmentally sustainable practices
In recent years we have undertaken several steps to improve the environmental sustainability of our business.
These steps have included:
- Working closely with board product manufacturers to ensure the use of E1 and E0 no/low formaldehyde products.
- E0 melamine decorated HMR particle board is now standard in all Base Joinery cabinet carcasses.
- Promoting the use of FSC [Forest Stewardship Council] approved solid timbers and veneers.
- Continually striving to ensure our waste products are recycled or disposed of in line with industry best practice.
By implementing these practices we have been able to deliver projects up to a 6-star Green Star rating.
